Jak se stát astronautem

Stát se astronautem patří k nejnáročnějším kariérám na světě a snadná cesta neexistuje. Česko je členem Evropské kosmické agentury (ESA), takže reálná cesta vede přes silné přírodovědné nebo inženýrské vzdělání, letecké či technické zkušenosti a vynikající zdravotní stav, následované přihláškou do výběru astronautů ESA (nebo k soukromým kosmickým společnostem), jakmile se otevře.

1. Přírodovědné nebo inženýrské vzdělání

Vysokoškolský titul v přírodovědném nebo inženýrském oboru je základním požadavkem téměř každého astronautického programu včetně výběru ESA. Dává znalosti, bez nichž další kroky nejsou možné.

2. Magisterské studium (kosmické inženýrství)

Magisterský nebo doktorský titul v leteckém inženýrství, avionice či příbuzném oboru zvyšuje šance ve výběru a otevírá přístup k výzkumu a práci v kosmickém sektoru.

3. Vojenský nebo pilotní výcvik
