Jak se stát elektrikářem

Becoming an electrician in the UK runs through accredited vocational training rather than a university degree. The standard route is an apprenticeship: 3-4 years combining college theory with paid on-the-job work, leading to an NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical (Installation). You'll also need the 18th Edition wiring regulations qualification, and an ECS card to work on site.

Take the apprenticeship route and treat the NVQ Level 3 plus 18th Edition as the real goal - together with your ECS card they determine whether you can work unsupervised and certify installations. Adding the AM2 assessment and inspection-and-testing qualifications opens up higher-paid work and self-employment later.
