Pracovní rozvrh a podmínky

A teaching assistant usually works 8 hours a day. The workday starts early in the morning and ends in the afternoon. Weekends are Saturday and Sunday. Work is conducted in an office, typically in a kindergarten or educational institution. Remote work is not envisaged. Additional conditions may include participation in events or celebrations. Communication with children and colleagues is important.

Jak se stát asistentem učitele

Pozice asistenta učitele v České republice nevyžaduje nutně vysokoškolský titul, ale uchazeči musí mít alespoň střední vzdělání s maturitou (SOŠ). Řada škol preferuje absolventy pedagogických programů na VOŠ nebo Bc. studia na pedagogických fakultách, jako je PedF UK nebo PedF MU. Klíčovou roli hrají rovněž kurzy zaměřené na práci s dětmi a základy speciální pedagogiky.

1. Specializované vzdělávací kurzy

Akreditované kurzy asistenta pedagoga nabízejí střediska celoživotního vzdělávání a pedagogická centra po celé ČR. Kurzy trvají obvykle 1–3 měsíce, pokrývají základy pedagogiky, psychologii dítěte a práci se žáky se speciálními potřebami. Po absolvování obdržíte osvědčení uznávané MŠMT.

2. Stáž v mateřské škole

Začátečníci mohou nastoupit do mateřské školy přímo jako asistenti pedagoga bez předchozích zkušeností — práci se naučí přímo na místě pod vedením zkušeného pedagoga. Praxe zahrnuje pomoc při vedení skupiny dětí, přípravě aktivit a komunikaci s rodiči. Mnoho VOŠ a pedagogických fakult zahrnuje povinnou praxi jako součást studia.

Nejrychlejší cestou je absolvovat akreditovaný kurz asistenta pedagoga a nastoupit do školy nebo školky. Pro kariérní postup na pozici vychovatele nebo učitele doporučujeme studium na pedagogické fakultě (Bc. nebo Mgr.).
